'Renae' is a vigorous climber to about 12 feet tall that blooms almost constantly on limber, thornless canes. 2.5 inch pale pink, semi-double blooms are produced in clusters of 3 to 10 all along the canes. The fragrance is strong and sweet and travels far from the plant. Glossy foliage is rarely troubled by disease either. This is a nearly perfect repeat blooming climber, except that it is not winter hardy below zone 7. It is almost completely thornless too?!

For winter's rains and ruins are over,

And all the season of snows and sins;

The days dividing lover and lover,

The light that loses, the night that wins;

And time remembered is grief forgotten,

And frosts are slain and flowers begotten,

And in green underwood and cover

Blossom by blossom the spring begins.
